Team

The team

Mikes Billis is a music composer and sound designer with over two decades in the industry, collaborating with major labels like Warner, Sony, and Universal. Specializing in film scoring and sound design since 2002, he has composed for acclaimed films such as Monday, Bastards, The Fourth Wall, and One August Night. His work has earned multiple awards, including a nomination for Best Film Score at the 2023 Hellenic Film Academy Awards. Top brands like AUDI, Piraeus Bank, and COSMOTE trust him to create compelling soundscapes and music compositions.

John Valasis is a composer, producer, and sound designer with over 20 years of experience in music production and sound design. His work spans multiple disciplines, from composing and producing music across various genres to crafting immersive sound design for film, gaming, and audio technology companies. He has collaborated with industry leaders such as Meta, BBC, HBO, Native Instruments, Ableton, Roland and Ninja Tune.

As co-founders of Athens Film Sound, Mikes and John lead a growing team of passionate professionals—including sound designers, foley artists, and musicians—who collectively craft immersive auditory experiences. Their combined talents ensure that each project resonates with depth and authenticity, enhancing cinematic storytelling through meticulously designed soundscapes.
